3 February Reports Continued
The day began with Morning Prayer
and the Eucharistic celebration, strengthening us for the task ahead.
At 9.15 am Sister Lydia, the
liturgist of the day, led us in prayer and implored the guidance of the Holy
Spirit, with a meaningful hymn.
Sister Sunitha, the Provincial
Superior presented the highlights of the Report of the Sri Lanka Province which
includes Pakistan. She had incorporated into her presentation the geographical,
political, historical and ecclesial facts of these two countries. The presentation was followed by a lively
discussion.
The next to present the highlights,
was Sister Ancilla, the Provincial Superior of the Southern Province. She gave us a glimpse into the life and
activities of the Sisters of the
Province.
We came back in the afternoon for
the discussion on the Report of the Southern Province. Sister Vincent, then presented the highlights
of the Report of the Western Province.
It was a succinct summary of the life and apostolate of the Sisters of
the Province.
All the Reports gave us fresh hope
for the future of the Congregation.
The Associate Secretaries, Sisters
Nirmala Francis, Sudeera, Anisha and Jennifer D’Silva are the expert assistants
to the Chapter Secretary.
