22 February
As the last week of the General
Chapter was approaching, the Delegates decided to thank Sister Agatha Mary and
her team for their services to the Congregation during the past six years.
After the day’s session, we
gathered for a thanksgiving prayer. The Superior General and the team came in
procession with lighted candles. Each
member of the team was prayed for. It
was an inspiring thanksgiving prayer.
23 February : This Sunday was special again as it brought much desired relaxation for the Chapter Delegates. Mary Immaculate convent had invited us for tea and a get together. We worked earnestly the whole morning and at 2.30 p.m. went to Mary Immaculate convent, Wilson gardens. The sisters welcomed us with much love and hospitality. We enjoyed being with them, playing games and seeing around the place.
At 5.45 p.m. we had to leave the Sisters as we had another invitation from the Vice Chancellor of Christ University Rev. Fr.Thomas C. Mathew for a music and dance programme at the university auditorium. It was truly a scintillating, glittering cultural extravaganza.
