SHARING CHRISTMAS LOVE, PEACE AND JOY
IN OUR NEIGHBOURHOOD
On 14 December 2104, we had the opportunity to spread the message of Christmas to the people of our neighbourhood in a big way by organizing a procession through the roads of Jayanagar, Bangalore. The Holy Eucharist was carried by Rev. Msgr. Jayanathan, Vicar General of the Diocese, followed by a live Crib. The Choir Group was led by Sister Clarice who conducted the prayer and singing. Several priests from our parish and other acquaintances, parishoners, students, ACAs, and the hostelites on the campus joined in the procession, carrying lighted candles. The Generalate team members and the Sisters of the Lourdes Community and Mary Immaculate Convent participated too. The flower girls from Carmel Higher Primary School sprinked flowers before the Blessed Sacrament. At certain strategic points along the way, the Sacred Host was raised to bless the people. The procession ended with Benediction in front of the grotto of Lourdes Convent. Here are a few pictures of the Christmas procession.
